Today I am telling about food, all living beings need energy to remain alive and active we get energy from the food

Functions of food

1. It provides us energy for doing all life activities.

2.It keeps us healthy.

3. It is necessary for growth and reproduction.

4. Provide material for repair of damaged cells

Types of organism according to food

There are two type of organism according to food

1. Autotrophs

2. Heterotrophs

Autotrophs:-the organism which make their own food from carbon dioxide and water in the presence of Sunlight and chlorophyll are called autotrophs.ex- green plants

Heterotrophs:-the organism which take their food from another organism is called heterotrophs organism. Heterotrophic organism for the divided into many types like

1. Herbivorous

2. Carnivorous

3. Omnivorous

4. Scavengers

5. Decomposers
